Digifarms founder listed among top Fifty Entrepreneurs to connect with in Africa

To commemorate the 2021 Africa Day, TEFConnect, the digital networking platform for African entrepreneurs run and managed by the Nigerian based Tony Elumelu Foundation for the first time since its creation released, May 25th 2021 its list of 50 Entrepreneurs to Connect with in Africa to highlight and project entrepreneurs across the continent whose businesses are making a positive impact.

The entrepreneurs as described in the publication have been “Unique in their individual mission to reshape, transform and impact, these new entrants and existing players, are celebrated for their entrepreneurial spirits”

Coming third on the list of 50 promising entrepreneurs to watch out for in Africa as listed by the Foundation is Digifarms Africa founder and 2019 Tony Elumelu entrepreneur Che Azenyui Bruno.

The ranking comes less than 24 months after after the completion of the 2019 TEF-UNDP Entrepreneurship program during which the company was selected as finalist and offered seed funding, mentoring and capacity building support.

Other young African entrepreneurs also listed on the recognition include Nigerian based wood entrepreneur and founder of TAEILLO, Jumoke Dada and Ghanaian based founder of 57 Chocolates Kimberly Addison.

”In a year characterized by uncertainty, some of these entrepreneurs adapted to match the demands of their market, while some are leading conversation for a more inclusive and climate-conscious society by promoting Eco-innovation, waste management and energy efficiency. Whether it is in Agribusiness, healthcare, ICT, Fashion, or environmental conservation, these African entrepreneurs are skilled and dedicated.” the release stated.
