How can I buy Products From Digifarms?

You can do so in four easy steps:

(1) Visit www.digifarmsafrica.com on your android phone, computer or any device that is connected to the internet

(2)Click on “Marketplace” and you will be taken to a list of all our available products

(3)Identify the products you want on our Marketplace and click on “Add to Cart“. You can add as many products as you want and do well to specify the quantity of each product as you add them to your Cart.

(4) Underneath your cart click “Proceed to checkout” and at this stage you will be prompted to indicate which payment method works best for you. For now we are doing Cash on Delivery, Cheque, bank to bank transfer, Visa Card and Mobile Money and Orange Money.  We look forward to introducing additional payment methods in future.

Once You have indicated the payment method that works for you go ahead and submit your request.

Congratulations. You have just placed your product order. You will then receive a message from us notifying you that we have begun processing your request.

Do I get to come pick up the product from your shop once I have purchased?

No. We provide delivery services for products ordered from us. In most cases the cost of product delivery is born by the customer but we take charge of the delivery process. To the best of what we can, we ensure that we deliver the products door-to-door. In cases where we can’t provide door-to-door delivery, the closest possible option is often explored this together with the customer.

I don’t have a VISA Card. Can I still order products from Digifarms?

Yes. We provide a broad range of payment options for our products, These include digital payment options, bank-to-bank transfer and cash on delivery. In situations where the customer lacks any of the digital payment options above, we usually explore cash on delivery options.

What happens if the product delivered to me is not the one I ordered for?

We have a Money back policy that guides our relationship with our customers once they receive products other than the ones they ordered for. You can read our refunds and return policy here.

The Product I want is not an agricultural product. Can I still order it from Digifarms?

Sorry. We are an agri-commodity trading Enterprise. We sell agricultural and agriculture-related products only. Our catalogue of products is most likely to include products in the range of Farm inputs, Agricultural equipment and Machinery. farm produce, Finished and Semi-finished agricultural products as well as Agricultural Services and consultancy.

What happens if my product gets damaged while being transported to me? Who takes responsibility?

Digifarms Africa is responsible for the safe handling of products while they being transported to the customer. This is in situations where the Customer has agreed to let the enterprise take responsibility for the transportation of the product. In situations wherein the customer or the product manufacturer choose to take responsibility for the product transportation, we decline responsibility in the event of theft, damage or distortion.

How long does it take to receive my products once I have ordered?

It typically takes 24-72 hours to deliver products to customers who order from the city in which the product manufacturer is based. Customers out of the city typically get their products within 2-5days depending on the availability of a partner delivery agent as at the time of order and the ease of accessibility of the customer location. At at present Digifarms Africa has NOT YET begun shipping products out of Cameroon. We look forward to setting up our shipping service in the nearest future.

Are there exceptions to the agricultural products you trade in or you sell all?

Yes there are exceptions. We donot trade in animal wildlife protected or not. We also don’t trade in products that are legally proscribed from sales in the country in which we operate e.g In Cameroon, we donot trade in Marijuana, cocaine and any other drug-related products. As for Livestock, as at present the only items of livestock we trade in are Fish and Poultry products (Chicken, Eggs, etc). We look forward to trading in other livestock products in future. we however do trade in livestock by-products e.g we don’t trade in cattle but we do trade in cattle dairy products such as butter, cheese etc.

What about short-term perishable agricultural products like Vegetables? Do you also trade in such?

We are currently in talks with producers of vegetables and other short-term perishable agricultural products. We are exploring the possibility of having the customer order the products straight from the farmers’ garden. Once we establish an engagement with a producer, the product will be listed on our sales marketplace here.
